Today, 21 May 2025 in Lucknow, India's Defence Minister Hon’ble Rajnath Singh met with Maulana Yasoob Abbas, speaker of the All India Shia Personal Law Board (AISPLB). During the meeting, the two discussed the recent success of Operation Sindoor.
Maulana Yasoob Abbas congratulated the Defence Minister on the successful operation, praising the strategic achievement in ensuring national security.
He also expressed his happiness over the government’s announcement to establish a BrahMos missile production factory in Lucknow, which played a significant role in the success of Operation Sindoor.
Maulana stated that the establishment of the BrahMos facility would not only boost India's defence self-reliance but also mark Lucknow as a key hub in the country’s defence infrastructure.
The two also discussed broader issues related to national security, defence preparedness, and regional development.
